Unity and hurts

Good Monday morning to you all!

This morning Our Lady gave me a lovely message on unity and on the challenges thereof in today’s world.

“Our Lady

Write my child

My little children, how I desire you all to be united like one big family, accepting and complimenting one another in your uniqueness.

Only in heaven my children will you all get along perfectly! While on earth there will always be misunderstandings and hurts.

Look even to the live of Jesus, Joseph and I. Joseph was going to divorce me when he found out that I was carrying a child and when Jesus was lost both Joseph and I were confused, angry and worried.

So you see my children that misunderstandings and hurts can happen even in the most Holy and prayerful of families through the permissive will of God.

And so too my children with you all. God will often allow trials and misunderstandings that will hurt you and cause you deep pain and confusion.

Why does a family member get sick? Why do your children not turn out how you expected? Why do your parents not understand you?

The list is endless and yet you must never judge but pray for wisdom, understanding and always be ready to forgive and change just as St. Joseph changed his coarse of action when the angel appeared to him and explained the origins of the child I was carrying.

Pray my children for unity and always be ready to listen without judging and trust in the providence of God who brings all things together in time.“

I’m not sure about you but this message resonated with me deeply on so many levels especially after our Medjugorje prayer evening the other day for LGBT people where hurts and misunderstandings are everywhere .

Yet it’s not just there! How many of us were converted and our families and friends didn’t understand or have suffered great loss and cried out to God “why?”.

And even though we’d like magical quick fix to all our divisions, God doesn’t offer this either!

St. Joseph must have been going up the wall about Mary when he saw her pregnant and the angel took his time intervening. The child Jesus was lost for a full three days leaving Our Lady in terror….we could easily ask why God didn’t sort these situations out immediately or why he allowed them at all…

Similarly with my ministry. Parents ask “Why is my child gay?” And “What can I do or what should I do or can they be healed” while the gay children ask “Why doesn’t mum or dad accept me how I am” and “Why are they ashamed of me?”.

It can take years and years of healing and understanding on both sides (parent and child) to bring unity and understanding into these situations and yet nobody is to blame because God allows it for His higher purposes and to teach us that no matter how much any other human being loves or understands us, He loves and understands us more and better!

So with that in mind let us keep praying and persevering and working towards unity even if at times it feels slow and hopeless and impossible because God knows in his perfect wisdom what he is doing and how to bring all misunderstandings to an end in his timing.

Jesus, Mary & St. Joseph, Pray for us for a spirit of unity, understanding and forgiveness.

Wonderful Medjugorje LGBT evening

≈ Comments Off on Wonderful Medjugorje LGBT evening

Good morning!

Yesterday I took a day off from writing etc to pray, reflect and thank God for all the wonderful things that he is doing.

On Thursday night we had our second Medjugorje themed LGBT evening and while the first one went off without much commotion, this second one attracted a lot of attention!

So much so that our beloved Fr. Keith had to write a letter explaining what it is that we are doing.

This letter explains our mission perfectly; reaching out with love to the LGBT community through the messages of Our Lady of Medjugorje.

You may know the phrase “you catch more flies with a spoonful of honey than a jar of vinegar” and I think that this applies to the evangelisation ministry to the LGBT community where people need to be loved and accepted and then gently taught and instructed on the ways of God and how they apply to them.

This was the theme of our evening and so we started with the rosary with the gentle music from Medjugorje playing in the background after which we had a wonderful 20 minutes of praise and worship led by Séamus on our new sound system which was good and loud.

I gave a little introduction and with the help of the projector I showed the people some images from Medjugorje as I explained where it was and what it was all about.

We were delighted that we got a real mix of people with half being our friends who are not gay but love Medjugorje and the mission of evangelisation and then the other half who were LGBT.

Perhaps for me the highlight of the evening was at the end when in the hall we all shared cheese and wine and broke out in dance! It was truly wonderful to see everybody mixing and taking and sharing together whether gay or not and this is the whole aim of our ministry, to break down walls and fears and to create love and friendships grounded in prayer.

Anyway going back to the main event we then had a beautiful mass with the opportunity during the offertory to write a personal prayer intending and place it in a basket which Fr. Keith then took and placed on the altar bedside the bread that would be later transformed into the living body of Jesus.

Séamus excelled in the music ministry as he went from praise and worship mode to accompanying the mass with beautiful profound and meaningful songs for each moment.

After the mass we moved into another period of sharing and teaching, this time with Eddie sharing his testimony of conversion with us and how the message of Medjugorje changed his life.

After this deep and heartfelt story Eddie knelt before the Blessed Sacrament and read slowly and prayerfully some of the messages of Our Lady of Medjugorje down through the years.

All were messages of love with the call to the conversion of hearts and lives and so while this was going on there was the opportunity to go to confession and to bring Jesus the hurts and wounds of life through the priest in confession just like in Medjugorje.

Outside we had a few people with candles protesting against our evening but fortunately most people took no notice and note than me actually thought that these protesters were actually a part of our group and they were like a welcoming team!!!!

You might wonder why anybody would be protesting but remember that when Medjugorje began to happen in the 80’s the evil spirit went mad to attach it and it’s only now after 40 years that it’s more or less accepted.

So you see, attacks like this are a good sign that we’re on the right track and Satan nearly always uses good but misinformed people to do his bidding.

Just like Jesus rebuked St. Peter and said “go behind me Satan” when Peter didn’t want Jesus to go to Jerusalem and get killed, Jesus may have similar thoughts about these protesters trying to keep the LGBT community out of the church.

Yet Peter would later become the first Pope and I guess that this rebuke from Jesus was part of his learning curve.

And so it’s with this same attitude that we must pray and trust in Jesus for the good and well-intentioned people that are afraid and so are opposing us and hopefully one day they’ll be inside praying the rosary and participating in the mass and prayers with us.

In the meantime we must keep on going just like they did in Medjugorje and trust that the fruits will come over time.

And so a sincere thanks to everyone that came, to Monsignor Keith for celebrating the mass and sacraments and his good humour in the hall afterwards and praying that this ministry will go from strength to strength for the glory of God and the conversion of hearts and lives.

Our Lady of Medjugorje, pray for us and lead us all to the love of Jesus.

Good morning all and hope all is well!

Last night we checked out the new sound system and projector in the church for tonight’s prayer evening….looking good.

We also filled a couple of barrels of freezing water to through on the party poopers outside 😀 Just kidding, hopefully the gentle music of Medjugorje will draw them in and they will repent of judging us…..although I don’t actually expect that to happen. It’s good to have hope but life also teaches you to be realistic!

And speaking of being realistic what’s more realistic than this story of a young gay guy I met 2 years ago in Soho of only 19 who was very depressed and very angry whom I bumped into again on Tuesday and who had totally changed.

At only 19 and from a Muslim family this young guy was raped and subsequently found out that he was HIV+.

God writes the book of each life in funny ways and certainly allows terrible trials to fall on people.

Last time we spoke this young guy was into witchcraft and besides wanting to have sex with me wasn’t interested in much else.

While the sex didn’t happen, he did let me pray for him and I prayed quite a few deliverance prayers at the time as I felt the power of God surge through my hands and into him!

The demons felt it too because he suddenly got up and accused me of bible bashing him a stormed off very angrily.

So I prayed for him in my heart and never saw him again until this week that is.

“Have we met before?” He asked?

“I think so” I relied as if I didn’t remember too well.

“Are you kinda spiritual ?” he continued.

“Kinda” I thought, there’s no “Kinda” about it but “yes, yes I am” I smiled.

“Well you prayed with me”….

“Well if you’re not happy you can sue Jesus and Mary and not me” I thought

“You said that things will get better “

“Did I?”I thought, I didn’t remember a thing that I said but sure…

“Well they did and I’m now a totally different person and want to thank you”

“Wow” I thought, I wasn’t expecting that! Thank you Jesus.

And you see stories and testimonies like this are the essence of our Medjugorje LGBT ministry and apostolate of love.

It’s about going out and sharing the love and healing power of Jesus and then coming back inside and bringing these people bit by bit to know him better.

And you see that’s why we don’t need people standing outside the church like garden gnomes or scarecrows frightening people away but we need people with the loving and welcoming embrace of Jesus inviting people inside.

So come on! Let’s not be afraid of the unknown but let’s put our full trust in the power of Jesus and Mary and bring healing and hope to as many LGBT souls as possible all over the world.

Come along tonight at 5.30 and help our apostolate to grow for the glory of God and the conversion of the world!

All publicity is good publicity!

Top of the morning to all!

Tomorrow at 5.30 we’ll be having our second Medjugorje event and we’re really looking forward to it.

We have a brand new speaker system which will blast praise and worship all over the church and we have a great program planned for the evening.

Of course the devil is hopping mad and the event has caused a bit of a stir with the “gay police” wanting to protect the church from “division” and handing out letters telling people why our event is bad!

I think they even wrote to the cardinal who of course has given great support to LGBT Westminster and has even celebrated masses there.

These people hide behind religion and words and while they say that they are against division, in reality they create division, a big division by excluding the LGBT community from the church.

As a friend of mine put it, it’s ‘disguised homophobia’.

And yet even out of this Jesus brings even more good because the actions of these people is again highlight the abominable way that LGBT people have been treated in the church.

While we will be having our beautiful mass and rosary and adoration, they plan on standing and praying outside with candles like they would outside an abortion clinic.

It’s so petty and pathetic and yet this is how some Catholics choose to behave.

Yet the good news is that it has now attracted way more publicity than ever before and so these idiots are actually doing our evangelisation for us by their idiotic behaviour.

And so as the week of Christian unity has just finished, let’s bring unity between the gay community and the church. There is no need to be protesting outside but rather come in, sit down and pray with your brothers and sisters whether they are gay or straight or whatever.

If you can make it tomorrow even if only for a little bit, please come along and show your support and prayer for all LGBT people who have been misunderstood and rejected for so long.

Careful now, who knows what those LGBT will do !!😂😂😂

Eucharistic Jesus heals today

One thing that I like to do at night is to spend time with Jesus alone in the church. Sometimes he talks to me, other times he tells me to sit and rest on his love and at other times he asks me to pray for specific intentions.

Whatever the case, it’s never boring!

This morning Our Lady spoke to me very powerfully on this subject:

Our Lady

My children, how much my son Jesus loves to be loved in the eucharist where he is truly present.

Every time you love him in the eucharist or bring others to love him in this way, the whole of heaven smiles on you.

He is really and truly there and despite what you may feel, He blesses you in extraordinary ways for your acts of love and faith.

Today’s world is in need of a doctor to heal it but the doctor is not a human doctor, the doctor is my son Jesus who acts so powerfully through his priests and faithful.

Teach people my children about the power and desire of Jesus to heal and restore lives through prayer and the sacraments and share from the rooftops what He has done for you and for others in your lives so that they will be converted and come to believe.

And that you see is why Medjugorje and our Medjugorje evening is centred around the eucharist and the sacraments with the celebration of mass, Eucharistic adoration and the opportunity for confession.

It’s also why we have testimonies and sharing from people who have experienced the transforming power of Jesus in their lives and who are now fully in love with Jesus and Mary and prayer.

Jesus simply thirsts to be known and loved and to reach people beyond the “normal” boundaries or demographics of the church.

If you know any LGBT people or even if you don’t, come along on Thursday evening and step into the gap for them. Pray for them, bring them with you in spirit if it’s too soon for them to come in person and be a part of the bridge of healing between heaven and earth.

And for anyone concerned about Thursday evening and our theology, Monsignor Keith Barltrop in who’s parish we have been staying for the last few years and who has also been appointed by the cardinal to work on this area wrote this wonderfully encouraging letter of endorsement.

So let’s all get together for Our Lady and whether we are gay or not, who cares, let’s bring souls to Jesus in the eucharist!

Have a eucharistic day!!

Conversion, conversion, conversion

Hello from Westminster where I’m having my lunch after mass in the cathedral.

This morning’s reading was most relevant with Jesus himself being accused of following and working with demons, an all too familiar story for some of us involved in ministry.

Jesus replied very firmly to his adversaries explaining that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit would not be forgiven.

The priest went onto explain that it’s one thing to misunderstand the ways of God and quite another to close one’s mind entirely and refuse to see the obvious and then to both judge and condemn.

Along these lines Our Lady spoke to me:

“My little children, the ways of God are not the ways of man and the ways of the Holy Spirit are not the ways of your human understanding.

This my children is why I am relentlessly calling you in Medjugorje to pray with the 5 stones so that you will be filled with the power and wisdom of heaven.

Conversion, conversion, conversion. Conversion of hearts and minds and ways.

Read my little ones the lives of the saints and keep your eyes on the things of heaven where eternal peace and love await you.”

As we end the week of Christian unity let’s pray that we can be united by the power of the Holy Spirit in hearts and minds and have the humility and docility to listen and to learn to what the Holy Spirit is doing in the world today and not be guilty like the pharisees of attributing the works of God to the devil!

All welcome, bring a friend or tell a friend, you never know the lives you may touch.

It’s a sin…

≈ Comments Off on It’s a sin…

Last night Séamus and I went out for a few drinks in Soho.

We ended up in a drag bar surrounded by our fellow gay brothers and sisters!

One young guy was celebrating because he’d just come out as gay, another we got talking to seemed a little lost and was still finding himself and then we got talking to about 4 or 5 drag Queens, all wonderful people with very interesting lives.

And then on came the song “It’s a sin” and here are just some of the lyrics which in a way summarise the pain that a lot of gay people feel deep in the hearts because of a lack of church teaching and pastoral support in this area.

“When I look back upon my life
It’s always with a sense of shame
I’ve always been the one to blame
For everything I long to do
No matter when or where or who
Has one thing in common, too
It’s a, it’s a, it’s a, it’s a sin
It’s a sin
Everything I’ve ever done
Everything I ever do
Every place, I’ve ever been
Everywhere I’m going to
It’s a sin“

And as if somehow to show us that this type of attitude still exists among some church people, this morning we found out about a protest that was being organised for next Thursday outside the church during our Medjugorje evening!

I could use the lyrics of this song and say that for some people:

Everything I’ve ever done
Everything I ever do
Every place, I’ve ever been
Everywhere I’m going to
It’s a sin

Yet the catechism of the catholic church teaches that

2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.

So one really could ask the question what on earth is their to protest about an evening of prayer for LGBTQ Catholics and their friends and families and why not encourage us rather than judge and condemn us?

Isn’t it time that LGBTQ people who so often have been treated as sin no matter what they do be “accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity” as the catholic church teaches?

So let’s break the cycle of fear and shame and condemnation and pray that one day every LGBTQ person will be able to say:

Everything I’ve ever done
Everything I ever do
Every place, I’ve ever been
Everywhere I’m going to
I AM LOVED

Let us pray also for all protestors and people who think that they are pleasing God by rejecting the LGBT community in the church.

May God give them the light of His love and mercy to understand the error of their ways!

Come along Thursday if you can (inside the church I mean 😉 😏)

Dancing with the gays!

≈ Comments Off on Dancing with the gays!

You’ve heard of the American TV show “dancing with the stars”, well today Our Lady is calling us to dancing with the gays….metaphorically speaking at least!

Perhaps we look at people like we see on this photo with disgust or distain because they don’t look like they have just been praying the rosary but these are just as much loved children of God as me or you and Our Lady has one message….to love.

“Love my children is like a dance between God and His creatures.

There is music, there is rhythm, there are rules and coordination and yet over time all becomes automatic and the dance of love begins.

Like learning anything it takes time and every professional dancer and musician had to start with a simple step and gradually learn and assimilate more and more moves.

There is no replacement for practice and reflection and especially reviewing and learning from one’s errors.

Mistakes are inevitable, especially when learning a new routine and so too it is with holiness, mistakes are inevitable especially as you are being tested and are learning how to love new people and adapt to new and challenging situations.

You must resist the fear to avoid what is new and unfamiliar because this is where God is growing and stretching you

For many of you, the LGBTQ community are new and unfamiliar and you are afraid to get involved or afraid to love in case you make a mistake.

Do not be afraid, I will give extraordinary graces of love and protection to any of my children who reach out in love to my LGBTQ children.

Pray my children with your hearts and I will place the loving music of heaven in your hearts for my LGBT children.

This love will conquer all your fears and apprehensions and you will become fearless apostles of love and hope to all.“

What a beautiful message of love and encouragement from Our Lady to us all to keep on learning to love and like a dancer who learns new routine, for us to learn a new routine of love, to love the LGBTQ community too!

Our Lady does warn us that it will be difficult and messy and unfamiliar and that we will make mistakes but she also promises her extraordinary graces of protection and blessings which I for one can testify to after almost 15 years on this road and only getting stronger.

So let’s not be afraid to get involved, come along to Our prayer evening next Thursday, tune on on the Internet if you can’t (we will live stream it) and pray for and love the LGBTQ people in your area or community without judging or condemning.

Have a gay day with Our Lady 😂😂

Love your enemies

21 Fri Jan 2022

Posted by michael4jesus in All Posts

≈ Comments Off on Love your enemies

Perhaps the greatest challenge of our christian faith and equally the most misunderstood is the concept of loving our enemies.

If my enemy for example is pro abortion, should I become pro abortion too out of love?

If my enemy is homophobic, should I stop reaching out to gay people out of love?

Or if my enemy is an atheist, out of love should I become an atheist too?

Well it’s obvious that the answers to all those questions is no but this leads to another question:

How can I love my enemy and still continue to do or believe in something that they hate?!

Our Lady speaks into this dilemma this morning:

“My children, as you pray with your hearts I will give you love for those who do not know my son Jesus and this love will come from the love and mercy of Jesus who sees and understands all.

My children, you must not judge. Jesus was a friend of sinners and yet not of sin.

You are all sinners my children on a long and hard road to holiness.

You must not think that you are better than other people or somehow more deserving of God’s love and mercy than them and you must never judge those who do not believe in my son no matter how evil their actions.

Consider how Jesus often spoke very severely to his enemies as he denounced their behaviour and yet he did not judge them in his heart.

You must do similarly my children, pray for those who oppose you and yet hold your ground and your faith.

Loving your enemies does not mean agreeing with them and dropping your faith but it does mean forgiving them and praying for their conversion.

Worry not my children when you are not understood by others but let your only concern be keeping a good and pure conscience before God.“

So we see that loving our enemies doesn’t mean dropping everything that we do that they don’t agree with but it does mean praying for them and saying to ourselves “if I had their life and they had mine, I might be behaving just like them and worse and yet I wouldn’t like anyone to judge me as a bad person”.

Séamus, Toni and I get ample opportunity to put this into practise as our ministry has many enemies.

Only yesterday did Toni receive a long handwritten letter denouncing the increased LGBT activity in our church while claiming that God will crush it!

He’s a funny God if after years of healing us and building us up that he’ll now crush us but no matter how much we explain to others what it is that we are doing, some of them just cannot and will not get it!

Despite our event being entirely centered around prayer and the sacraments, to some we may as well be handing out condemns with a guide to having gay sex!

And so Our Lady’s words are timely, to pray for the people who write these type of threatening and condemning letters and yet at the same time to keep on going.

So if on that note you are around next Thursday, please come along to our event. We need your support and prayers and so do all the hurting and rejected LGBT people in our catholic community.

Please keep us in your prayers and also feel free to send us a message or prayer intention at ‘catholicgayalive@gmail.com‘.

Heaven is all around us

≈ Comments Off on Heaven is all around us

This morning God the Father gave me a beautiful message about the spiritual world all around us and prayer.

I always find it fascinating when God speaks to me about what he sees and how he perceives things because after all he’s God, he sees everything!

“Heavenly father

My children, while for many of you I seem so distant and absent, the reality is that I am closer to you than the air which you breathe.

Your earthly reality and perception are so far away from my heavenly reality and you must be careful not to base truth on what you can only see and feel with your human senses.

The spiritual world is all around you my children and it permeates your physical world just as the light of the sun gives you light.

All around you my children are spiritual realities, angels, demons, saints helping you not to mention the extraordinary spiritual activity that occurs in your churches and especially during the mass.

My children, heaven desires to communicate with you and hears every prayer and every pang of your hearts.

If you are attentive you will learn how to hear heaven talking back to you through signs and signals and what you may otherwise call coincidences and this will help you to trust.

For this my children you must take time to pray and to reflect on your lives and days and allow your hearts and lives to be guided by my fatherly hand.

In the Spiritual world my children you have many enemies determined to keep you away from me and away from prayer. This is ultimately to destroy you because any Spirit that keeps you from me does not want you to reach heaven and know my love.

Pray my children, learn about prayer, read about prayer, speak to your priests and people of prayer and learn from them “

In a way God is asking us to learn about prayer in the same way as we have learnt about technology.

Yesterday for example I had my very first meeting on zoom which will surprise some of you who have been using it for ages and just as I had to learn how to turn it on, how and when to talk and listen, so too do we need to do the same thing when it comes to prayer!

We need to learn how to pray, who to pray to, when to talk, when to listen, when to press ‘mute’, who to invite, who not to invite, where to find a suitable place…..

And like everything else, we get better with practice and over time and God on His side will pour down blessings and signs on us to help us on the way.

If you are in the London area and are free next Thursday, please come along to our Medjugorje LGBT prayer meeting where we will teach you how to pray from the heart and guide you through the common prayers of the church including the mass, the rosary and eucharistic adoration with lively praise and worship music, testimonies and fellowship!

All are welcome whether regular church goers or people that have never stepped inside a Catholic church in their lives.

Michael
