LGBT Power Evangelism

30 Sat Apr 2022

≈ Comments Off on LGBT Power Evangelism

On Thursday I went into Soho where Jesus often sends me to evangelise.

Usually I go to certain gay venues and say a prayer to the Holy Spirit and the rest just happens! Between the lonliness of a lot of gay men and also the thirst for sex, it’s really not that hard to get talking to people and have special amazing times of sharing and even prayer!

Contrary to what a lot of people think, even the most horny and sex-crazed guys are nearly always open to having a good chat and talking about life and if you can look beyond their sexual habits and talk to them, you can often meet Jesus in their souls and even pray with them.

Now I won’t lie, when Séamus and I left Medjugorje and went travelling around Bosnia and Croatia and began meeting the gay community it was certainly a shock to the system, especially after having been in Medjugorje!!

Sex, sex, sex and when you are not used to this world it can be a terrible shock to the system! Before you even know a person’s name you are often sent a picture of an erect penis and told where they where like to put it.

If you are too serious then they’ll never talk to you and you’ll get blocked, if you are not serious enough then you’ll go down the wrong road yourself!!

In hindsight it’s not surprising that some people thought that the devil had grabbed a hold of Seamus and I when we left Medjugorje and started on this evangelisation journey and that we had regressed back into our old ways with me as the ringleader!!!

Yet in reality we were stepping out in faith and were putting our necks on the line as we found ourselves surrounded by the world of sex and drugs which we’d previously escaped from.

And yet it was as we stepped out and prayed and talked and prayedband witnessed to these guys that we grew and grew and grew and got even more healing and freedom in the Spirit ourselves.

Certainly some people were worried about us but when Jesus saves you from hell and then brings you back to help others, it only reinforces your gratitude to him and your desire never to go back there and this is what happened for Séamus. Our evangelisation trips only made us want to pray more and live pure and chaste lives so as to bring more gay guys to the church.

Now this type of evangelisation is called ‘power evangelisation’ which gets its name from the ‘power’ of the Holy Spirit who guides it because it’s not something that you would do off your own bat so to speak.

And the good news is that for those of you interested in learning more about ‘power evangelism’ there is a conference about it next Saturday near London run by the ‘Cor et Lumen’ Community (Damian Stayne)

https://coretlumenchristi.churchsuite.com/events/p7njklaoSpirit

So if you are free why not come along or join online and learn more about how the holy spirit us working in these times and how we can cooperate with him by bringing the light of Jesus to the darkest corners so that more and more people can be set free from their afflictions and addictions for the glory of God and the salvation of mankind!

Praying for priests!

29 Fri Apr 2022

≈ Comments Off on Praying for priests!

Last night at Saint Mary of the Angels a new apostolate started in our parish, the Marian movement of priests which began in the early 1970’s when Our Lady began speaking to a priest (Fr. Gobbi) in what are known as locutions!

While rare, God gives locutions at times to people to help the church at a given time in a given area and of course this gift is no stranger to me as I too am one of those people who has been receiving heavenly messages for many years now.

Anyway Jesus and Mary were so happy about this new apostolate that they shared with me their joy!

“Jesus and Mary

Our hearts are warm with excitement for the Marian movement of priests tonight.

When you come together to pray for priests in humility and simplicity, heaven rejoices greatly and many priests both living and in purgatory receive enormous blessings.

Priests are simple men too and they need your prayers, love, forgiveness and support.

At times they also need your correction too so that they may grow and stay on the right track but this must always be done with love and respect.

Pray my children especially for those priests who refuse correction and who lead my children astray.“

Like most locutions, the messages from heaven are simple, direct and clear and are not open to being interpreted in 100 different ways so that people can find ‘holy reasons’ to justify their disobedience like with the Bible which is often interpreted to suit!

However even at that, there is a way out! We can say that Fr Gobbi or me or whoever else is crazy or has a ‘powerful imagination’ or that ‘some bits’ are from God but not the bits that we don’t like and of course there is another way out that many use and that is that the church teaches that ‘we don’t have to believe in private revelations’ even those ones approved by the church.

These cat and mouse attitudes mean that an awful lot of people totally and utterly ignore Our Lady’s and Jesus’ messages and just do their own thing and at times do a lot of damage to the church.

And this is why Jesus and Mary were so very happy to see this apostolate begin at St. Mary of the Angels in London because priests need prayer now more than ever and the messages of Fr Gobbi are equally relevant to these current times.

So on that note, let’s pray for our priests today and “especially for those priests who refuse correction and who lead my children astray.”.

Have a holy and prayerful day!

Super LGBT evening

Top of the morning to you all and thank you for your prayers because they totally worked!!

The evening went really well from start to from start to finish without either technical hiccups or any stress induced arguments and we even had a nice little crowd of people from all corners and profiles!

The highlight of the evening was the wonderful testimony of a mother with a gay son and their struggle to cope. Perhaps the most painful and raw thing she said was that when she found out that her son was gay, it felt like he had died and that she had lost him.

How many other mothers out there feel the same thing and how many gay people out there feel that they are somehow responsible for killing at least a part of their mums?!

The answer is that very many people live with these hurts and that’s where Jesus and Mary want to heal and reunite these families under the mantle of Our Lady of Medjugorje, Queen of peace!

So let us keep on going and keep on praying and bringing the merciful love and understanding of Jesus to the LGBT community and their families all over the world!

Watch our evening on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/101338019076917/videos/1584434618625113/

Have a wonderful day and spread the love to all families and friends of LGBT!

I’m an atheist!

≈ Comments Off on I’m an atheist!

As I left the Carmelites yesterday after evening mass I was introduced through a friend to a man walking his dog who proudly proclaimed that he is an atheist!

He was a very determined atheist and was 100% sure that there is no God and even when I shared my testimony with him, he politely told me that it was my ‘powerful imagination’.

However when he did share about his upbringing and the terrible fighting that went on between Christians it wasn’t hard to see where his atheism was conceived; the bed of religious hypocrisy, abuse, control and pride.

On my way home I prayed for him and admired both his honesty and kindness and willingness to share and later in the evening I prayed before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

“Jesus

You call me the invisible God when really it is you that are invisible!

You are a mere speck of dust in the cosmos incapable of seeing over 90% of what is in front of your very eyes.

Your vision is limited to physical things and even at that you need microscopes and other equipments to see things that are smaller than a certain size.

Not to mention the spiritual world all around you that you cannot see!!

Yes my children, you are truly blind and even blinder still when you deem that I don’t exist because you can’t see me!!!

No my children, I am not invisible at all but is is you who are blind!

Open your hearts and the eyes of your hearts to my presence, be humble and learn about me and how to love me for I see each and every one of you at every waking hour in infinite detail beyond your imaginations!

Call on me and I will help you to see!“

Well clearly Jesus isn’t impressed when blind little humans say that he doesn’t exist and is asking them to wake up and smell the roses and yet in his gentleness and mercy and patience he reaches out to help us to see.

And it’s on this very theme this evening that we will have our Medjugorje LGBT evening as we help Jesus to bring healing and sight to wounded hearts who have lost sight of God.

So if you are in the area, please come along and with your love and prayers help Jesus to bring the light of his love to the blindness of our hearts.

The next step…

26 Tue Apr 2022

≈ Comments Off on The next step…

Yesterday I was talking to my spiritual director about evangelisation and it’s challenges and he said something very simple and profound!

“It’s about bringing people to the next step and that step might only be a very small step”.

At the Jesuit Church in Farm Street for example, every other Sunday there is a mass with a social group afterwards for LGBT Catholics which as you can see is not a lavish banquet but a simple cup of tea with some biscuits and cakes for everybody.

Now you might wonder what good this is but for a young LGBT person that may feel hated and unwanted by the catholic church, it may will bring them to the “next step” on their journey!

Now this next step might be 100 miles away from dropping on their knees and becoming a contemplative nun but nonetheless, it may may well be a significant step on their spiritual journey which God is in charge of and not us!

Evangelisation is largely about sowing seeds and at times the seeds are so very tiny and small that we can wonder if we are making any difference at all and if we let this attitude of wondering and questioning fester in us, it can lead to doubt, negatively and discouragement.

Sadly others at times can be quick to judge us too and indeed in my own ministry to the LGBT community there are some people who see my ministry of evangelisation to be nothing but an excuse to meet LGBT people and have sex!

The funny part is that I do meet a lot of LGBT people and many of them would quite like to have sex with me if I was open to it but quite frankly it’s not what I’m looking for and often we have very interesting conversations about God, about life and about the church.

What are the long term results? I don’t know but Jesus isn’t asking me to know and it’s not about numbers, it’s about hearts!

This is why we must be so very careful not to judge ourselves or to judge others who have been called to the ministry of evangelisation because it is one of the most difficult and challenging ministries.

We must also be very careful not to compare the ministry of evangelisation with the ministry of healing. I used to work in the healing ministry and in a way it was much easier because the people that came for healing were already believers and already understood about healing and were thirsty for more…..the total opposite mindset of those one meets evangelising!

Of course in the ideal world, the ministries of evangelisation and healing would work together because what better way to bring people to believe in God than by offering them healing….

And this my friends is what our monthly LGBT evenings are all about, a place where people we meet through our ministry of evangelisation can come and hopefully experience some healing through charismatic praise and prayer, talks, testimonies and of course the most healing prayer of all, the Holy mass.

And so tomorrow evening, why not come along and be a part of this ministry of evangelisation and healing and help others to make the “next step” on their journey to God however big or small that it may be!

Jesus in the host

≈ Comments Off on Jesus in the host

Last night as I sat in front of Jesus hidden in that tiny piece of bread I felt the presence of Our Lady around me and became aware that she too was looking at the host in amazement and love!

“Our Lady

I too marvel at the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and despite being His mother, he is also my God and my saviour and the eternal object of my love and amazement!

God can never be fully understood by any creature and just like the laws of physics and of science, you can understand some and discover more and yet as you discover more you will realise that there is so much more to be discovered.

God reveals himself to those who love him bit by bit and he searches above all to be loved rather than to be studied.

God does not reject study because he inspires that too but most of all he likes to be studied by people who love  and thank him because on its own study can lead to pride and hardness of heart.

My children, how I so desperately desire you to teach you how to love God in your lives and how to make the knowledge you have of God in your heads be of use also to your hearts so that you love him more.

Evangelisation is easy when you love because love naturally reaches out to others.

Do not let yourselves get distracted my children by too much questioning and reading but allow your hearts to love Jesus in the Eucharist and your neighbour and you will learn more than one thousand books.“

Our Lady really is the best teacher and this is why in Medjugorje she constantly emphasises prayer from the heart because it is from doing this that the love in our hearts for Jesus builds up.

It’s tempting to avoid prayer with the heart because you can feel that you have nothing to show for it or that you have learnt nothing new or worse still that it’s selfish because you have been ‘navel-gazing’ and thinking about yourself when so many other people out there are suffering!

And yet Jesus and Mary see it as the total opposite! The more you work on yourself and allow Jesus to heal your life and calm your fears then the more you will be full of love and peace to help others and the more you will be joyful loving witness of his love and goodness.

And so Our Lady invites us to unite our heads and our hearts so that our knowledge may lead to love and our love may lead to action and so we may be her apostles of love for these times!

Spend time with Jesus in the Eucharist regularly and pour out your heart to him and he will transform your life bit by bit!

Feast of mercy

≈ Comments Off on Feast of mercy

Good morning on this feast day of Jesus’ divine mercy and if you are anything like me, you’ll be asking for more mercy and holiness for yourself as we all fall short of perfection!

This morning Our Lady gave me a beautiful message of encouragement for us all which I will share with you now:

“Our Lady

My beautiful children whom I love so much and desire to see in heaven with me in glory, I love you with my whole heart and thirst to the love and infinite mercy of my son Jesus.

My little ones, I through no merit of my own am God’s most splendid creature and even in heaven you will see that my place is different from all others.

I am and will be your mother for all of eternity and so God has bestowed on my soul, motherly graces and knowledge to know and love each one of you individually!

Just like a mother looking after a baby, I know and see your needs before you know and see them yourselves and I know what each and every one of you need and what gifts and callings God has for your lives.

I also know how very weak and vulnerable so many of you are and how much you need the love and mercy of Jesus to fulfill your life calling and to be Holy.

You must help eachother to become holy without judging my children because all of you fall short of what is ideal and it is by your perseverance and humbly returning to the mercy of Jesus that you will please heaven the most!

Be understanding and merciful with eachother and at the same time strive for holiness and you will all advance in holiness so much faster.

Today on the feast of mercy, approach Jesus with humility and simplicity and ask Him for all the healing and mercy for both your own lives and for others“

What a beautiful reminder of how Jesus and Mary work together and how important Mary’s role is in these times in bringing us to the mercy of Jesus and in helping us to put it into practice in our lives.

The more we get to know Jesus, the more we will get to know Mary and vice versa as Jesus sends us to Mary and Mary sends us to Jesus!!

And so on this feast of the divine mercy, may we consecrate our hearts and lives to both Jesus and Mary and we are sure to get a double explosion of love, mercy and grace our lives.

Parents of LGBT

23 Sat Apr 2022

≈ Comments Off on Parents of LGBT

Next Wednesday evening we will have our monthly LGBT evening and the theme of this one is going to be ‘parents of LGBT’.

While we so often hear of the stories of suffering and rejection of LGBT people themselves, we don’t often hear as much about the terrible pain and suffering that many parents go through when they discover that their child is LGBT.

Like so much of the LGBT related suffering, it is based on lies and misunderstandings and fear.

Imagine the fear and pain of a mother or father that loves their child so much and now suddenly discovers their gay and because of a lack of understanding thinks that it’s a choice and that they will go to hell if they don’t change!

Many good catholic parents simply don’t know what to say or how to react and because there are no clear pastoral guidelines from the church, the confusion is all the worse!

And even if the parents are understanding of LGBT issues, everyone knows that life is different for LGBT people and from homophobic attacks like we’ve recently seen in Ireland to the unequal treatment and understanding especially on the church environment where there is still a lot of shaming, silencing and sweeping it under the carpet in an “offering it up” kind of mentality.

When I consider how much effort my own mum made in raising me in the catholic faith and her belief in God and her desire for me to stay in the church, it must really have been a sword to her heart to see me leaving it all and getting lost and it’s hardly any wonder that when I told her that I was gay years later that she nearly died of shock!

Then the blame game begins for the parents…what did we do wrong? Were we too hard? Were we too soft? How can it be and then there is the biggest and most terrifying favourite to deal with: what will the neighbours say?

There can be terrible shaming and gossiping especially in the church environment as the family can become the talk of the town and he parents considered to be somehow dysfunctional! “By the fruits you will know them” says the bible and no-one ever mentioned LGBT fruits!!

And finally there is perhaps the biggest suffering of all for the fathers who are often based for the child being gay, at least for guys.

Many people n the healing ministry attribute being gay to a lack of love from the father as a child and so then it becomes a game of blame and shame daddy!

So as you can see with all this blaming and shaming and confusion going on, the devil has a field day wreeking havoc and hatred all over the family.

And so this is why next Wednesday we are going to focus on the aspect of the LGBT issue and we will hopefully have a testimony from a Catholic mother who has lived and suffered some of their very hell.

So please come along and invite all parents and friends to our evening of healing and prayer!

Be joyful not miserable 🙂

“Jesus

My children,

How I desperately desire for you all to be full of my love and for that love to flow from you to others.

Just like when you eat healthy food and every cell in your bodies benefit from it so do I desire every cell and every part of your minds and souls to glow with my love!

For this to happen my children, you must be able to ‘digest’ my love just as your stomachs digest food and the ‘stomach of the soul’ is your will and intellect.

If your minds are closed or of you refuse to adapt and change with my grace, then you will benefit nothing from my love though you may go to mass and receive me every day!

My love and grace function with your will and cooperation and so it is within your power to block the flow of this grace in your lives despite going to church every day.

This is why so many of you are unhappy and full of worry and fear because you do not allow me to act in your lives as I desire!

My love my children is light and joyful and full of exuberant life and hope even in the midst of all the sufferings and dramas of life.

My love inspires you to pray but also to praise, to celebrate, to give thanks and to use all the gifts and talents that I have given you for my glory!

Some of you my children are praying yourselves sick and boast of your seriousness and religiosity while judging others whom you deem to be less holy or worldly.

Holiness is not seriousness and it is not a fruit of the Holy Spirit to be serious and stern the whole time but rather a sign of your lack of trust and spiritual infirmity.

My children, allow me to love you and to heal you and to make you a people of holy joy for all to see.”

Medjugorje pilgrimage….

20 Wed Apr 2022

≈ Comments Off on Medjugorje pilgrimage….

Good morning and yes it’s already that time of the month when we are once again getting ready for our Medjugorje ministry to LGBT people and their friends & families.

Of course not only are we getting ready for this but we are also getting ready for our trip to Medjugorje in June and while the last time we were there, it was just Séamus, Toni and I, this time we are with an army for London including Monsignor Barltrop who the cardinal has appointed to look after LGBT people.

It will be interesting to see what happens and to be honest I’m both looking forward to it and dreading it. I was so badly treated there the last time that if it wasn’t for Our Lady calling me I’d never go back in a million years.

Between the police being called on me and threatening to beat me up, being kicked out of our accommodation, trying to manage Toni who has just recently been converted and was very vulnerable while at the same time being gossiped about, talked about and even preached about….the last time was a living hell but I offered it up to Jesus as best I could for LGBT people and in my heart said “one day I’ll come back with a bus load of LGBT souls for Jesus!”

As I see Rayne preparing his visa to go (being Filipino he needs visas) I’m wondering how on earth people will react to us arriving as a same sex couple……not that we will be walking down the streets holding hands and kissing but still it’s kind of daunting and tell people all we want about sexual purity, some will never believe because their minds are twisted.

“They will be nice to you but they do not like you, what more do you want?” Said a friend who goes there regularly!

Well actually it would be quite nice to be liked and to be respected and for those people who judged me to see that I’m doing God’s work in a very difficult area of ministry and could do with support and understanding.

“If Toni commits suicide it will be your fault” they said…..”and if he doesn’t” I thought and I bring him to London as Jesus has told me…..What will you say then?

Chances are they will say that it was Jesus who helped him and not me. I’ve noticed that in Catholic circles, when you commit a sin it’s all your “maxima culpa” but when you do something good then it wasn’t you that did it at all, it was Jesus!!

Of course in reality it’s our cooperation with Jesus and his grace and it is not prideful to feel a holy joy and gratitude for the good things we have accomplished with him.

Anyway regardless of all that, there is at least one person who has always welcomed me and accepted me 100% in Medjugorje and that of course is Our Lady and while she may not live in a castle or in a luxurious pansion or have written any books, her graces and presence are all over the place for all souls including LGBT!

And so you see dear friends that being Catholic and LGBT is no bargain and in order to pick the beautiful graces one has to be as strong as an ox at times inside in order to withstand and avoid the obstacles and thorns that scream “not welcome, not catholic, not loved, not wanted”

So with all that in mind, please pray for Our Ministry and upcoming pilgrimage and for LGBT Catholics who suffer so much unnecessarily.

Pray that our little group from London (who’s not all LGBT people either) may be immensely blessed and be a light of love and witness to being LGBT, catholic and loved and for a softening and conversion of heart of those over there who misunderstood us and our calling so that in the future we can bring busloads of LGBT pilgrims to Our Lady without any hassle or problems.
